Meet the Team
Our team of professionals is always growing, and we strive to create the best fit between client need and therapist availability. Learn more about who we are and what we do below.
Christopher Carlino, LPC
I am a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of CT and hold a masters of science degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling.
I am trained in Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, an evidence based therapy that is effective in treating anxiety and panic disorders, depressive disorders, PTSD, career stress, and relationship difficulties. I am also trained in mindfulness skills, addiction and recovery, and have received past certification in trauma informed care. I work primarily with adults over the age of 18, and accept most commercial and state insurance.
I strive to balance therapy between a supportive exploration of clients' deepest concerns, clinical effectiveness, and a focus on creating meaningful life change. I have a passion for helping people get unstuck in life, and the ACT approach I utilize helps facilitate a connection to purpose, and a movement from struggling against symptoms to leading lives of heartfelt choice.
